I would like to introduce you to the ASUS VivoBook S500, the latest and largest addition to the ASUS family. If you are looking for a PC with a big, bright screen (15.6” inches to be exact) that is durable, yet portable, this might be the one for you.
The first thing that caught my attention was the keyboard. The track pad is situated slightly more towards the left because the VivoBook S500 has a number pad in addition to the full featured keyboard. This is a great feature that is not very common on laptops. If you are headed off to school in September to study Engineering, or other math focused majors, this is a feature that you will love, and will make your classmates envious.

Are you in the market for a great Windows 8 notebook with a touchscreen that won’t drain your bank account? Look no further than the ASUS VivoBook X202. The past few weeks I have been spending some quality time with this little gem, and I must admit that I am very impressed.

Selecting a mobile PC is a process of balancing trade-offs. Screen size, computational horsepower, battery life, weight, size, and price are all factors that vary from one type of laptop to another. In the past, you had to choose between capabilities like battery life, size, and performance. These tradeoffs are becoming less pronounced with the new crop of thin and light laptops. With these PCs, you can enjoy ultra-mobility, great battery life, and have the power to run popular consumer or enterprise apps. In this post I’ll talk about the latest thin and light laptop from Samsung: the Series 9 (13.3” in this case, 15” models are also available).
