Taipei City, Taiwan – Feburary 14, 2018 - Today, QSAN Technology Inc. launched XCubeNAS XN8008R, a 2U 8-bay rackmount NAS designed for lightning-fast data transmission speeds, virtualization environments, and maintaining the most demanding database applications that require high IOPS with low latency levels.

XN8008R comes equipped with an Intel Xeon 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and 8GB DDR4 ECC U-DIMM Memory, which is expandable up to 64GB for enhanced operational performance. The XN8008R also has a hybrid 8+4+2 hard drive support with a raw data storage capacity of 106TB.

XN8008R runs on QSAN's advanced and easy-to-use proprietary operating system, QSM 3.0, which brings file sharing, data backup, and security to a whole new level. QSM 3.0 also runs on ZOL (ZFS on Linux), an enterprise-grade transactional file system that uses the concept of storage pools to manage physical storage.
